The Journey of #KASHpeKASH: Round 2, Days 1–30
The second round of #KASHpeKASH began with a renewed determination to push my boundaries and grow both personally and professionally. This journey has been a rollercoaster of challenges, self-reflection, and achievements. I immersed myself in coding, exploring new tools, and revisiting concepts like JavaScript and backend development with technologies like MongoDB, Express, and Node.js. Attending hackathons and events such as Google I/O Extended and GDG Gurugram DevFest became a cornerstone of this round, allowing me to connect with brilliant minds, gain insights from industry experts, and grow my network. These experiences, packed with energy and learning, have been both humbling and inspiring.
Balancing assignments, projects, and exams felt like juggling fire, but each moment contributed to my persistence. Along the way, I battled bugs that tested my patience, only to emerge stronger and more logical. There were days when setbacks overwhelmed me, yet I reminded myself to keep going. Whether it was late-night coding sessions with music, spontaneous problem-solving, or reflecting on mistakes, every step brought me closer to understanding my potential.
Round 2 has also been about embracing creativity. Through SketchKingston, my graphic design venture, I explored the artistic side of my personality, channeling imagination into visuals. I also discovered the art of handling people and situations, learning valuable lessons from both supportive and challenging individuals. Negative experiences turned into powerful motivators, teaching me resilience and fueling my drive to grow.
As I stand at the cusp of the next phase, I can see how much I’ve evolved—not just as a developer but as a person. The first 30 days of Round 2 have been a testament to persistence, adaptability, and the power of community. #KASHpeKASH is not just a journey; it’s a mindset—a commitment to self-improvement, no matter the odds.
